During the visit, led by Chair of INACA Denon Prawiraatmadja, they also held a closed-door meeting with Vice President of Global Strategic Initiatives Commercial Sales & Marketing Boeing Commercial Airplanes, John Bruns, for discussing a new business scheme for Boeing to enter Indonesia.
"The collaboration between INACA and Boeing is very important because Indonesia, which is ready to become the fourth-largest economy globally in 2045, is trying to improve its aviation sector," Prawiraatmadja noted in a statement in Jakarta, Friday.
He remarked that at the meeting, discussions were also held regarding the financing of Boeing aircraft for operators in Indonesia.
The partnership aims to leverage Boeing's extensive expertise and technological advancements in aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, and pilot training to support rapid growth of the Indonesian aviation industry.
Prawiraatmadja, who concurrently serves as deputy chair of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Transportation, explained that by combining forces, INACA and Boeing are expected to pave the way for sustainable development, ensure the safety and efficiency of air travel, as well as maximize the economic potential that lies ahead for Indonesia.
"This important meeting aims to encourage collaboration and discuss the potential for mutual growth and development, thus further strengthening the partnership between Boeing and the Indonesian aviation industry," he affirmed.

Vice President of Global Strategic Initiatives Commercial Sales & Marketing Boeing Commercial Airplanes John Bruns stated that Indonesia is very important and influential for Boeing, considering its large aviation industry that continues to grow.
Bruns remarked that the meeting between INACA and Boeing in Seattle showed the shared vision and determination to advance the aviation industry of both parties.
"With this collaboration, it is hoped that we will be able to identify and navigate new opportunities, overcome challenges, and provide better services to prospective passengers of INACA member airlines," he stated.
Secretary General of INACA Bayu Sutanto remarked that at the meeting, the discussions also covered the continuation of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and green aviation that had earlier been discussed at the Bangkok ASEAN Summit.
"SAF is one of INACA's concerns, wherein the 2023-2025 management also have a program related to improving green aviation and SAF in Indonesia in order to play a role in building a better and healthier world for our children and grandchildren," he remarked.
During the visit, Deputy Chair Arif Wibowo, Secretary General Bayu Sutanto, Deputy Secretary General Capt. Dharmadi, Expert Council's Alvin Lie and Andre Rahadian along with INACA administrators and members were also present.
INACA members that participated included scheduled airlines, such as Garuda and TransNusa; non-scheduled airlines, including Airfast; and cargo airlines, such as My Indo Airlines.
