The ministry's Secretary General Kunta Wibawa Dasa Nugraha stated that the Corporate University would help to improve ASN's competency, including non-technical competencies, such as negotiation, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
"The Kemenkes Corporate University will also be integrated with the talent management system by combining elements of independent learning, experience-based learning, use of technology, and a modern curriculum," he said in a statement quoted here Thursday.
He remarked that the Corporate University's curriculum consists of nine topics, 39 modules, 278 study hours, and 16 plus three days of attendance, with a duration of eight hours. The total learning time is 34 days.
The Corporate University will use learning methods with a non-classical approach in the form of mentoring and experiential learning processes, Nugraha stated.
According to Nugraha, the development of Kemenkes Corporate University has been carried out since early 2023, starting from curriculum development, branding, campus preparation, developing teaching capacity, as well as study comparison with three leading business schools in Indonesia.
The application of the business school curriculum development approach is based on the results-oriented learning methods applied by business schools, he explained.
"That way, it can complement the skills of our ASN, which so far tend to be process-oriented," he remarked.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin stated that work culture transformation needs to be carried out to ensure that ASNs within the Health Ministry are strong, qualified, and competent human resources (HR).
"I hope that every ASN from the Ministry of Health is a learner. We want the ministry to be able to facilitate our ASN to continue to develop and increase their capacity and competence," the minister revealed.
