"No, I did not hear that," he said at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Tuesday.
He informed that Pandjaitan's health has shown improvement. He also asked the public to continue praying for Pandjaitan's recovery so that he can return to normal activities.
"Thank God, Minister Pandjaitan is getting better. We pray that he will recover quickly and be able to return to his normal activities," Lahadalia added.
Earlier, on October 10, 2023, Pandjaitan, on his personal Instagram account @luhut.pandjaitan, informed that the doctor had advised him to rest for several days after his health weakened suddenly after he took part in a series of activities.
"Suddenly, I felt extremely tired. This fatigue was not like what I usually feel after work," he wrote in his Instagram post.
Pandjaitan's wife took him to a hospital in Jakarta for further examination. Given the condition of his health, he was advised by doctors not to carry out his duties for several days.
After receiving offers from his colleagues, namely Singapore Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean and Singapore Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, Pandjaitan decided to recuperate in Singapore, while undergoing a more comprehensive medical examination and evaluation.
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has appointed State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Minister Erick Thohir as the ad interim coordinating minister for maritime affairs and investment.
He has also invited the public to pray for Pandjaitan's speedy recovery.
