Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) collaborates with the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) to support equal access to health, especially in frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged areas (3T) through the digitalization of health services.

"TBI is very pleased to be able to support the government in formulating an appropriate blueprint for digital health transformation," Senior Advisor of Health for Indonesia of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change Ben Kamarck stated in Jakarta, Monday.

Through an appropriate digital health transformation blueprint, Kamarck said, people's health needs can be met evenly in remote areas. According to TBI, equitable access to health can create a positive domino effect on sustainable economic growth and improve the welfare of Indonesian people towards a Golden Indonesia 2045.

The blueprint is contained in the Digital Health Transformation Strategy (DHTS) 2025-2029. The Ministry of Health collaborated and urged the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) to update DHTS to align with the national development road map and prepare a future health care system that is more in line with developing health trends.

"The Digital Health Transformation Strategy will be an important document for the Indonesian government because this document will determine the future of Indonesia's digital health strategy landscape," Chief Digital Transformation Office (DTO) of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Setiaji, stated on the same occasion.

Setiaji said DHTS is projected to become an integral foundation document for various national strategic plans, including the National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) and the Electronic Based Government System (SPBE).

DHTS will also be a reference for the Indonesian government to realize the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045, wherein all Indonesian people are targeted to receive quality health services without exception, Setiaji affirmed.
