Mojokerto, East Java (ANTARA) - Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Angela Tanoesoedibjo invited participants of the International Youth Jamboree held in Mojokerto to help promote local tourism.

The International Youth Jamboree took place at the Ubaya Training Center (UTC) in Trawas, Mojokerto, on November 6-9.

The deputy minister said her side has coordinated with Mojokerto District Head Ikfina Fahmawati in exploring efforts to promote local tourism, especially related to the history of Majapahit Kingdom.

"The ministry is present for all, including Mojokerto, which is part of the tourism (destinations). We coordinate with the district head of Mojokerto on how to continue to promote Mojokerto's history," she stated.

She praised the jamboree participants, as members of today's younger generation are the future leaders of the nation along with the demographic bonus that the country will experience.

"We must prepare human resources from now on," she stated.

She said the younger generation will carry the baton of leadership.

"Young people are at the forefront of all sectors, (and) some will be entrepreneurs, state leaders, legislators, and also workers that will increase productivity," she stated.
