"The work on CP 201 (Thamrin and Monas Stations) under Phase 2A of MRT Jakarta is continuing as scheduled," he informed here on Wednesday.
He said that at Monas Station, the construction work has entered the stage of casting the cooling tower platform, the first segmental box for the Museum Street entrance, pile head cutting of the opening of entrance two, and partial testing of the electrical mechanical system at the receiving sub-station (RSS).
Work on the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, such as cable lines, water pipes, drainage and fire extinguishing systems, as well as the architectural completion of the RSS is also on.
PT MRT Jakarta is also carrying out wall installation and station painting, double wall installation, and hanging frame installation for platform screen doors at Monas Station.
"The work being carried out at Thamrin Station includes excavation and casting of the concourse slab and base slab, the north side of the station's column, to jet grouting at entrance four," Pratomo disclosed.
Furthermore, the laying of the bored pile foundation for the stabling yard, the demolition of the pedestrian bridge in front of Thamrin 10, and the installation of the grounding system are also in progress.
As of November 25, the construction of the southbound tunnel had been completed with the help of tunnel boring machine 1 (TBM-1). TBM-1 is currently being dismantled.
The installation of the tunnel walkway from Bundaran HI Station to Monas Station is also being carried out.
Meanwhile, Pratomo said construction work on PT MRT's CP 202 Harmoni-Sawah Besar-Mangga Besar project reached 22.66 percent as of November 25.
Further, the CP 203 project at Glodok Station and Kota Station is 41.47 percent complete.
