"Today's activity is being carried out to remind and encourage all Indonesians to be enthusiastic about sustaining unity and harmony, as well as accomplishing our dream of a golden Indonesia by 2045," Puspayoga said at the 95th Mother's Day commemoration in Jakarta on Friday.
Minister Puspayoga emphasized the important role of the younger generation in achieving the 2045 Golden Indonesia goal.
"Children's Forum, generasi berencana (GenRe) Forum, members of the flag-raising troop (paskibraka), students, and university students who attended (the commemoration) today to show that in the hands of the younger generation, the relay of the country's leadership will continue," she said.
The event was also joined by Vice President for Women and Family Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ensieh Khazali.
Khazali is on a visit to Indonesia to attend the signing of a memorandum of understanding on women's empowerment, child protection, and family resilience.
"We hope that with the cooperation of both parties, we can reduce the various problems faced by women. Through this MoU, we can expand our cooperation in the fields of women's empowerment, child protection, and family with the Republic of Indonesia," Khazali said.
The 2025–2045 National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN), also known as the Golden Indonesia goal, envisions a sovereign, developed, and sustainable archipelago.
According to President Joko Widodo, there are at least three main factors that will serve as a reference for achieving the vision of a golden Indonesia by 2045.
The first is national and state stability. The second is sustainability and leadership sustainability. The third factor is people's resources, which are Indonesia's greatest asset.
