"Nusantara has a vision to become a livable and lovable city. Therefore, this document contains (steps) on how to make it happen," OIKN Head Bambang Susantono noted in a statement released by the authority here on Thursday.
Susantono elaborated that the blueprint aims to realize Nusantara as a livable and admired city that has struck a balance between economic growth, environmental sustainability, and community welfare.
The Nusantara Smart City Blueprint will provide an overview, reference, and strategic guidance for stakeholders and the community about the vision and mission of Nusantara.
Susantono explained that the Nusantara Smart City Blueprint stipulates various urban components that must be met to ensure a good quality of life, such as healthy water and air, orderly urban planning, accessibility, and safe and comfortable environments.
"This is a document that contains the plan and its implications for society and the nation in the future," he stated.
According to circular No. 14 issued by the OIKN Head, the Nusantara Smart City Blueprint document also aims to invite stakeholders and engage them in city development in order to achieve a balance point between economic growth and equity, environmental sustainability, and community welfare.
OIKN's Deputy of Green and Digital Transformation, Mohammed Ali Berawi, stated that the blueprint contains urban aspects that are divided into six domains as a strategic foundation for Nusantara's development.
Berawi remarked that this document is a comprehensive guide for other stakeholders.
The launch of the Nusantara Smart City Blueprint is an important milestone in the new capital city development.
With the document, OIKN expected that Nusantara's development as a new civilization could be on target.
