Anas remarked that both the PANRB Ministry and the Communication and Informatics Ministry have an important role in the government digitalization sector.
"Hence, we will prepare a national portal that integrates various public services, and this is the task of the Kominfo minister as mandated by Presidential Regulation Number 82 of 2023," Anas noted in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.
According to President Joko Widodo's direction, Indonesia immediately implemented digital services with high interoperability.
"The presence of GovTech is very important, so that the digitalization of government services can be integrated. So far, the government's digital services are still not fully integrated," Anas stated.
He explained that this national portal is built on a citizen-centric basis wherein the community becomes the main actor in service.
Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) priority applications include at least nine comprising online driver's license and permit issuing, social assistance, health, education, digital identification based on demographic data, One Data Indonesia, financial transactions, service portal integration, and state apparatus services.
"The Kominfo Ministry's duty is to provide direction and supervision in the development of SPBE priorities in compliance with application development standards and data interoperability," he remarked.
