"We are starting the first groundbreaking this year with three categories. First is the role of BUMN, that is Pos Indonesia, which has a role in IKN in the logistics aspect by building the Nusantara Logistic Hub," Deputy for Investment and Financing of the OIKN Agung Wicaksono stated at an online press conference in Jakarta, Tuesday.
Wicaksono remarked that Pos Indonesia is collaborating with Bina Karya as an OIKN-Owned Enterprise (BUMO).
Another side involved in the fourth groundbreaking is Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) that already has a radio broadcast studio at IKN located in the Construction Worker Residential area.
"If nothing goes wrong, the president of the Republic of Indonesia will speak to the Indonesian nation on Wednesday (Jan 17), the first time for a radio network at IKN," Wicaksono remarked.
The next is investment from private sectors, as the role of logistics is deemed important. Hence, to this end, two private companies are involved, with SUN Hub being built by one of them, and the groundbreaking is being conducted for the warehousing area.
"There is the Nusantara Warehouse Park. This is interesting because there is a private investor from East Kalimantan, PT Wulandari Bangun Laksana, which built the Nusantara Superblock at IKN and is currently also building the Nusantara Warehouse Park at IKN," Wicaksono stated.
Wicaksono noted that the fourth groundbreaking for construction of the SUN Hub and the Nusantara Warehouse Park indicated that the logistics sector is involved in the current groundbreaking with Pos Indonesia since preparations for the transfer of ASN this year should be supported by the logistics sector at IKN.
Moreover, the number of hotel groundbreakings also continue to increase, and this time there is a groundbreaking for a five-star hotel from the Jambuluwuk group in collaboration with BUMO.
"(It is) because it is definitely needed. The transfer of ASN to IKN is being carried out in stages. Of course, not all of them will move immediately, but many ASN will come and also the visitors we hope will come to IKN. Hence, the presence of the hotel is important," Wicaksono stated.
Moreover, the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) conducted a groundbreaking for the LPS office at IKN on Wednesday (Jan 17).
Moreover, groundbreaking for infrastructure came from the APBN by state institutions, i.e., the IKN Authority Office, the State Mosque, and a memorial park called Beranda Nusantara.
Beranda Nusantara is a type of park akin to those found in the world's major capitals, such as in Washington D.C., the United States, which has a memorial park called the National Mall that contains a statue of Abraham Lincoln.
