The ministry's Director General of Sea Transportation, Antoni Arif Priadi, noted in a statement released by the ministry here on Thursday that the PNBP realization has continued to increase since 2020.
"The realization of PNBP for port services in 2020 reached Rp2.2 trillion (US$140 million), then in 2021, it rose to Rp2.4 trillion, Rp2.6 trillion in 2022, and Rp2.9 trillion (US$185 million) in 2023," Priadi remarked.
Thereafter, PNBP realization from shipping navigation aid services in 2020 had reached Rp573 billion (US$36 million), Rp605 billion in 2021, Rp695 billion in 2022, and Rp738 billion (US$47.2 million) in 2023.
Meanwhile, the realization of PNBP for concession services in 2020 reached Rp491 billion (US$31.4 million), Rp540 billion in 2021, Rp672 billion in 2022, and Rp697 billion (US$44.5 million) in 2023.
He stated that the successful realization of PNBP was mainly witnessed in the port services, shipping navigation aid, concession, and shipping telecommunications services sectors.
"Currently, all 264 ports, including private-use terminals and port business entities (BUP) in Indonesia have implemented the Inaportnet to achieve the main goals," Priadi stated.
He explained that the main goals are increasing national competitiveness and making processes at ports faster, more efficient, transparent, and competitive, as well as cutting logistics costs and increasing PNBP.
The implementation of Inaportnet at seaports is a serious effort made by the ministry for improving port services through a port governance program supported by the National Strategy for Corruption Prevention (Stranas PK) Team.
Inaportnet has facilitated stakeholders in running their business, created security in transactions, and shortened the time in the processes of the shipping sector.
