Bandung (ANTARA) - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) will implement a dynamic pricing scheme for more flexible Whoosh High-Speed Train trips from February 3, 2024.

In a statement received here in Bandung on Monday, KCIC general manager and corporate secretary Eva Chairunisa said that the dynamic pricing is meant to allow passengers to get Whoosh High-Speed Train tickets at a more economical price for trips during certain time slots.

“With this new (pricing) scheme, it is possible to offer different fares for Whoosh trips on the same day,” she informed.

She then listed some factors that will guide the dynamic pricing scheme, such as rush hours and non-rush hours, holidays or non-holidays, and weekdays or weekends.

She said that during rush hours, fares will be higher. Lower fares will be offered during non-rush hours.
