Bandung, West Java (ANTARA) - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has prepared services to help passengers with special needs in the Whoosh High-Speed Train at all stations.

KCIC Corporate Communication Manager Emir Monti stated here on Friday that KCIC officers have a special procedure for handling passengers with special needs. The procedure aims to ensure Whoosh can be enjoyed by all people.

"KCIC prioritizes passengers with special needs, such as people with disabilities, the elderly, unaccompanied children, pregnant and lactating mothers, and people who travel in sick conditions. They can take advantage of this special service," Monti remarked.

He explained that passengers in need can directly contact the officers to get assistance during the train trip.

"The officer will then accompany the passengers until they are handled by the Whoosh conductor and the train attendant," he stated, adding that they will be taken to their reserved seats.

At the destination station, passengers in need will be welcomed and assisted by special officers until they leave the station area.

In addition to the service, KCIC has arranged facilities at the station, so people with special needs can use them comfortably.

Monti highlighted that facilities, such as elevators, escalators, priority seats, special toilets, and other services, make it easier for passengers in need.

"There are our brothers and sisters who need special assistance in order to get the same right to travel comfortably," he stated.

Furthermore, Monti said that Whoosh, as a modern mode of transportation, always prioritizes the safety and comfort of passengers.

"We are committed to providing the best service for all passengers," he remarked.
