"We have guests from the French Embassy here to establish cooperation in the Road to Olympics," NOC Deputy Secretary General Cresida Mariska stated here on Saturday.
Mariska remarked that NOC Indonesia and the French Embassy followed up on several programs that had been discussed before, such as photo exhibitions, athlete scholarships, and the International Women's Day commemoration event.
"We do not forget to determine the path to the 2024 Paris Olympics and carry out several sports diplomacy activities, which will also benefit Indonesian athletes who will compete in Paris 2024," she remarked.
Meanwhile, Counselor for Cooperation and Culture of the French Embassy to Indonesia, Jules Irrmann, said he is highly enthusiastic about the collaboration with NOC Indonesia.

Irrmann affirmed that through the collaboration, France, as the host of the 2024 Olympics, has a network to pass on the values of Olympism to Indonesians through various activities.
"We will work with NOC Indonesia to activate the general public through exhibitions and cultural events, so they can know the meaning of the Olympics, and in particular, to spread the values of Olympism," Irrmann remarked.
He also hoped that the cooperation between NOC and the French Embassy in Indonesia would continue well in the future and not only be limited to the pathway or preparations for the Olympics that are only a few months away.
"We are excited that this collaboration is not only limited to sports but can continue for the future, especially about what we discussed today, including the possibility of training scholarships in France, student exchanges, and others," Irrmann stated.
