"I tasked Mr. Minister AHY with executing three matters, with one of them being related to issuing electronic land certificates on an even more massive scale," Jokowi remarked after the inauguration ceremony of several state officials at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Wednesday.
The government started issuing digital certificates of land in December last year as an effort to provide convenience to people seeking to print out the physical form of their land certificates.
At the State Palace, Jokowi said he also expected AHY to immediately reach a conclusion to the issuance of a regulation concerning the land utilization rights (HGU) related to carbon trading activities.
"Secondly, I instructed the minister to accelerate the formulation of a regulation that will govern carbon trading HGU, as plenty of parties have conveyed their keenness to participate (in carbon trading activities in Indonesia)," he pointed out.
