"After (the CEO of) Apple, Satya Nadella from Microsoft (will come) at the end of the month," he remarked after a meeting between President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Apple's Cook at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, on Wednesday.
He further stated that the government would also strive to invite the CEO of Nvidia to Indonesia in an effort to secure the country's position in the global supply chains of technology.
"We will try to invite Jensen Huang of Nvidia to come here as well. We aim to invite all big players of IT to Indonesia," he affirmed.
Setiad also explained that the meeting between President Jokowi and Cook was held to discuss the US-based technology company's investment in Indonesia.

The minister emphasized that the meeting was vital to draw in Apple's investment, which is expected to help Indonesia emerge among the prominent actors in the global supply chains of products powered by cutting-edge technology.
"This Apple's visit is part of our country's efforts to draw in investment and pay attention to the development of an ecosystem suitable for advancing technology," he remarked.
Meanwhile, Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita noted that the total number of smartphones produced in Indonesia last year had reached 49 million units.
Indonesia only imported 2.79 million smartphones in 2023, with 85 percent of them being Apple products, he added.
He then affirmed that the government is committed to achieving the domestic component level (TKDN) targets in a bid to bring economic added value to the country.
