Scheduled to arrive in Nusantara, East Kalimantan, on June 4, President Jokowi will visit and officiate ANTARA's office on June 5.
ANTARA President Director Akhmad Munir confirmed that the news agency will occupy a workspace in a building within Nusantara’s government core area.
He said that ANTARA is committed to serving as a hub for national and international media seeking insights into Indonesia’s new capital.
Munir emphasized that ANTARA's presence in Nusantara plays a crucial role in disseminating information about the city, particularly its development.
"The ANTARA office in Nusantara strategically contributes to ensuring the success of the new capital development resonates with global audiences," he remarked.
Munir also said that ANTARA continues to assist the government through its news reporting in attracting investors to invest in Nusantara.
