Speaking at the Agrarian Reform Summit 2024 in Denpasar, Bali, on Saturday, AHY highlighted the government's success in implementing the Complete Systematic Land Registration Program (PTSL), which has boosted the number of certified land plots from 46 million to 113.3 million.
"This figure is a notable feat, as it signifies our success in registering 94.4 percent of the targeted certified 120 million plots for 2024," he said, adding that the figure also contributed 89 percent of the targeted 126 million plots for 2025.
He underscored that the achievement had led to an economic value added of Rp6,519 trillion (around US$396 billion).
In addition to PTSL, the minister also highlighted the government's achievements in programs related to complete cities, electronic land certificates, and land redistribution.
Under the Complete City Program, a region is deemed "complete" by the government when it has successfully mapped all of its land through valid spatial and juridical documents, as demonstrated by the accuracy in physical and digital formats of the submitted land book data and measurement documents.
The government has designated 33 regions as complete cities and districts.
AHY said that the program has helped elevate the people's living standards by providing them with legal certainty for land rights.
Moreover, he highlighted that the ATR Ministry had successfully issued a total of 62,753 digital land certificates, with most of them issued within his 100 days in office.
AHY also stated that the government had implemented asset legalization and land redistribution programs on a total of 12.5 million hectares of land, exceeding the initial target of 9 million hectares.
He remarked that his ministry had been conducting business trainings for 364,397 families in the agriculture, fishery, and plantation sectors.
"These activities have resulted in an average income increase of around 41 percent for the families involved," he noted.
