The head of state and First Lady Iriana took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Airbase, Jakarta, at 7 a.m. local time aboard the Indonesia-1 Special Presidential Aircraft, according to Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media at the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana, in Jakarta.
"After landing at Sultan Hasanuddin Airbase in Maros District of South Sulawesi Province, the president and first lady will continue their trip to Bone District on a Super Puma helicopter belonging to the Indonesian Air Force," he revealed.
Permana stated that during the visit to Bone District, President Jokowi is scheduled to inspect the installation of water pumps provided by the government aimed at helping local farmers irrigate their lands ahead of the dry season.
"From Bone District, the president, along with First Lady Iriana and the entourage, will head to Sinjai District," he stated.

During his visit to Sinjai, the president will conduct a first-hand review of the facilities and services offered at a local public hospital.
"According to the plan, Mr. President will inspect the facilities of the hospital while reviewing the health insurance services of BPJS Kesehatan," he pointed out.
Public Works and Public Housing Minister Basuki Hadimuljono, Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Presidential Military Secretary Major General Rudy Saladin, and Presidential Security Guard Commander Major General Achiruddin accompanied President Jokowi and First Lady Iriana in their flight to South Sulawesi.
Jakarta Regional Military Commander Major General Mohammad Hasan and Greater Jakarta Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto, among others, sent off the president and his entourage at the Halim Perdanakusuma Airbase.
