Police Commissioner Reza Fahlevi from the airport's police office said his officers thwarted the attempts in different instances.
Officers also apprehended two men suspected of facilitating the departure of the illegal migrant workers.
Fahlevi said that the first attempt was made on September 11, when eight illegal migrant workers were detained at the airport's Terminal 2.
On September 13 and 14, the police also apprehended six illegal workers at two different terminals.
"They admitted that they were planning to leave for Cambodia for work but could not provide the necessary documents to work abroad," Fahlevi revealed.
The arrested individuals said they were offered jobs in Cambodia as restaurant waiters, customer service agents, or administrators for online games, according to Fahlevi.
"They received offers to work abroad illegally through the Telegram messaging application from someone who is currently under investigation," he stated.
