"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), there were no casualties," the agency's head, Satriadi Gunawan, said.
Shortly after the fire broke out around 06.25 a.m. local time, the agency deployed its personnel and fire trucks to the location.
The flames were completely extinguished at 11:51 AM after 103 personnel, assisted by 21 fire trucks, were deployed to the damaged building, Gunawan said.
Jakarta's Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) Head Isnawa Adji previously suggested that a short circuit may have ignited the fire at the Bakamla building.
