On Tuesday, Mambrasar received several youth communities and activists in an audience, including Youth On Policy, Bekasi Ambil Peran, Tadulako Youth Movement, Gensmart Indonesia, Geo Impact, Wadah Baik, and TIDAR Turkey.
"On various occasions, I have always emphasized that young people should not only be the objects but must also be the subjects of public policy. Not only become the targets but also become the development actors," Mambrasar noted in an official statement.
He said that conducting forums and involving its members of the audience is one of the several concrete steps taken to find solutions for gaps in access to education in Indonesia.
During the meeting, he ensured that young people's views and their recommendations related to education policy issues would be conveyed to President Joko Widodo.

The audience highlighted various strategic issues such as gaps in educational infrastructure, teachers' welfare, and the zoning policy in the new student admission system.
Co-founder of Youth on Policy, Yogi Syahputra, discussed Law No.12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education.
"This law is no longer able to respond to the challenges in higher education. The commercialization of universities, the failure to receive the world-class university target, and universities having low accessibility are main issues that must be addressed immediately," Syahputra remarked.
Meanwhile, Mambrasar praised young people who have actively contributed their views in the education policy, which are expected to support more inclusive and quality education in Indonesia.
He is committed to carrying all conveyed recommendations to a higher level so that the youth's voice can be heard and implemented in government policies.
