In a statement received from the ministry on Wednesday, she noted that women possess extraordinary potential to bring about broader positive changes for both companies and society.
"Moreover, amid increasingly complex challenges, women in leadership roles are becoming very relevant, especially in supporting more inclusive and fair development to realize the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045," she said.
She also highlighted the notable progress made by Indonesian women in various fields.
In this context, Puspayoga praised the increase in the number of women occupying strategic positions in both the government and business sectors.
"We should be grateful that, despite the patriarchal culture that often hinders women's movements, Indonesian women have achieved significant progress in many areas," she pointed out.
She emphasized that more women currently hold strategic positions in the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government.
Similarly, in the business world, an increasing number of women are holding key positions, such as CEO, manager, and other strategic roles.
She stated that her ministry is committed to supporting initiatives aimed at increasing women’s capacity.
According to Puspayoga, women are key to the nation’s success.
She expressed her belief that a company’s future success cannot be separated from the contributions of women leaders, as they lead the transformation necessary for the company's advancement.
