"There are five technical ministries under the coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development," AHY remarked here on Monday.
He made the statement after handing over duties to the new Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid and Deputy Minister of ATR/Deputy Head of BPN Raja Juli Antoni to Ossy Dermawan.
AHY elaborated that the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR)/National Land Agency (BPN), the Ministry of Public Works (PU), and the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas, among others, came under his ministry.
"The fourth is the Ministry of Transmigration and the fifth is the Ministry of Transportation. That is under our coordination," AHY revealed.
AHY said the ministry that he leads has been newly formed by President Prabowo Subianto in the Red and White Cabinet for the 2024-2029 period.
Hence, he admitted to still considering the structure and authority of the ministry. He said discussions were still underway regarding the structure and authority of the coordinating ministry.

In addition, AHY said he was still determining the physical location of the new ministry office. All important elements related to the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure will be arranged to ensure work efficiency.
"Hence, the organizational structure and its authority are still being discussed, including where we will have our office and so on," he explained.
Regarding his ministry's main focus, AHY underscored the need to focus on infrastructure projects nearing completion in various regions. These projects are considered priorities so they can be completed immediately without further delay.
AHY said his ministry would work towards ensuring integrated and targeted infrastructure development.
One such area of focus is the construction of reservoirs. AHY said he would ensure that the reservoirs built would have a direct impact on increasing agricultural production around the area.
AHY also accentuated that the wider community should stand to gain from infrastructure development. His ministry will focus on efficiency and widespread positive impacts.
"So this is what must be arranged well in the future," AHY stressed.
