Prabowo said that the 2.5-hour meeting involved an intensive and constructive discussion on several subjects.
"First, regarding defense and legal cooperation. Singapore and Indonesia are committed to fully implementing the defense cooperation agreement, including the arrangement of military training areas," he informed at a joint press conference with PM Wong at Merdeka Palace in Jakarta.
Next is economic cooperation, he said, noting that Singapore has become Indonesia's largest trading partner and investor.
Therefore, it is hoped that Singapore will accommodate wider market access for Indonesian products through the harmonization of regulations and standards, he added.
"We also discussed efforts to increase Singapore's investment in Indonesia in priority sectors, including renewable energy, industrial downstreaming, food security, digital and semiconductors, health, and the IKN," the Indonesian President disclosed.
In connection with the low-carbon technology sector, the two leaders discussed ongoing cooperation projects, including cross-border electricity interconnection, joint development of green hydrogen in Sumatra, and solar power plants.
The two countries also agreed to follow up on cooperation on carbon capture and storage.
Touching upon the fourth issue of food security, Prabowo and PM Wong explored the potential for cooperation related to technology transfer and exchange of expertise, especially in urban agriculture and for the development of food estates.
"We agreed to accelerate the completion of the MoU (memorandum of understanding) on cooperation on food security and agricultural technology," Prabowo informed.
Lastly, pertaining to the human resource development sector, Indonesia and Singapore agreed to deepen cooperation in education, science, technology, digitalization, and professional exchanges.
In addition, Prabowo also promised Wong he will attend the 2025 Leader's Retreat.
The Leader's Retreat is an annual meeting of leaders from Indonesia and Singapore to discuss cooperation in various sectors. It has turned into a forum for discussing conditions at the regional and global levels.
