In a press release issued by her ministry here on Thursday, she said that the programs involve sending SMS blasts, monitoring the radio frequency spectrum, providing logistics support, securing digital space, and communicating with the public.
She emphasized that her ministry will play a crucial role in ensuring a conducive digital space during the upcoming simultaneous local polls.
To preserve the security of the digital space, the minister said, her side is focusing on cracking down on negative content, such as misinformation, hoaxes, and hate speeches, that may trigger a conflict during the election stages.
"Our programs are expected to result in a safe and conducive digital environment and help bolster the sense of togetherness required for the realization of the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision," she added.
Minister Hafid was among the participants of the National Coordination Meeting for Regional Administrations 2024 at the Sentul International Convention Center in Bogor district, West Java, on Thursday.
President Prabowo Subianto delivered the opening address at the meeting, which was themed "The Implementation of Asta Cita towards Golden Indonesia 2045" and attended by over five thousand participants.
Hafid described the national meeting as a valuable momentum for central and regional governments to align their steps to effectively implement the Asta Cita — the eight main missions promoted by President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
"This event brought together all high-ranking officials from the Red and White Cabinet and regional heads from across Indonesia," she added.
Deputy ministers Nezar Patria and Angga Raka Prabowo accompanied her to the meeting.
