During a working meeting with the House of Representatives (DPR) in Jakarta on Thursday, BSSN Head Hinsa Siburian explained that the agency has programs to support these missions within the first 100 days of Prabowo Subianto's administration.
“We provide training and certification in cybersecurity to develop cybersecurity expertise across the central government, regional offices, and state-owned enterprises,” he said at the meeting.
The fourth Asta Cita mission focuses on advancing human resource development, science, technology, education, health, sports, gender equality, and the roles of women, youth, and people with disabilities.
Additionally, Siburian stated that BSSN plans to integrate cybersecurity literacy into all educational curriculums during the government's first 100 days.
“The goal is to establish strong coordination among ministries and agencies in preparing cybersecurity literacy curriculums and educational materials,” he explained.
He also noted that the agency will support digital literacy initiatives for students at all educational levels. BSSN will organize seminars and workshops on cybersecurity and cryptography for school students.
“Our aim is to enhance students' digital literacy in cybersecurity and cryptography and to raise awareness among practitioners and academicians about the post-quantum cryptography (PCQ) trend,” he added.
During the meeting, he disclosed that BSSN has allocated a budget of Rp179.65 billion (approximately US$11.4 million) to support cybersecurity initiatives within the government’s first 100 days.
