Jakarta (ANTARA) - State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi affirmed that ministers accompanying President Prabowo Subianto on his state visit to China have cooperation targets with the country.

"(They) want to (establish) cooperation relationship with the Chinese government according to their field," Hadi stated after escorting the president at the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base in Jakarta, Friday.

Prabowo's team for the foreign visit comprises ministers in the housing and maritime sectors.

Hadi also explained that the president's state visit to China is by invitation.

China has long invited Prabowo to visit along with his trip to attend the APEC Summit in Peru and the G20 Summit in Brazil.

Further, Hadi stated that the president is on the state visit to honor invitations from partner countries and attend several forums.

"Prabowo thinks (it) is very important for him to attend as the newly inaugurated president of Indonesia to maintain relations with several countries and also to attend APEC and G20 forums. The target of the visits is to maintain good relations with friendly countries," he remarked.
