Director of PT Pos Finansial Indonesia Sandi Mardiansyah said that his side is very enthusiastic about the opportunity to collaborate with Alliex Co.Ltd. in developing an integrated cross-country digital payment business.
"(Such a network is possible) With the strong Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) infrastructure and our extensive service network," he added in a statement issued in Jakarta on Saturday.
He further said he believes that the synergy will produce a more efficient, secure, and easily accessible payment solution for all users, both within the country and abroad.
"We are committed to continuing to innovate and support digital transformation that can provide real benefits to the community," he added.
The meeting discussed the potential for cooperation in developing an integrated digital payment network by utilizing the QRIS infrastructure that is available across Indonesia and the Pospay network owned by Pos Indonesia Group.
Alliex Co.Ltd. CEO Park Byoung-gun said that the company is operating in Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam and has established partnerships with seven major banks in Vietnam, including BIDV, MB, and Sacom.
In Indonesia, the company is actively working to build a cultural bridge between Indonesia and Japan through its support for the Sakuranesia Education Foundation.
"We see great potential in integrating cross-border payment systems, especially between Korea, Japan, Vietnam, and Indonesia," Park added.
He lauded PT Pos Indonesia, which said it is focusing on developing an easy-to-use payment system for Indonesian citizens (WNI) working abroad, especially in Vietnam and Japan.

Alliex Co.Ltd. emphasized its unique approach of integrating multiple payment methods, including mobile and card payments, which can organically connect each country's payment networks.

PT Pos Indonesia, through its Pospay network, sees great potential in this collaboration to expand the reach of digital payment services to an international level.
The collaboration can open up opportunities for Pospay users to make transactions in various Asian countries.
