Jakarta (ANTARA) - Renowned Indonesian composer Addie MS and his Twilite Orchestra are set to hold an orchestra concert titled "Video Game Concert Volume II" in Jakarta on February 22, following last year's success.

The show will feature symphonic musical performances inspired by several internationally popular video games, according to a statement on Sunday.

"On February 22, we will present the Video Game Concert Volume II to a larger audience at a much larger venue with varied ticket prices," Addie said.

The concert will also feature performances by South Korean idol group Kandis and several Indonesian musicians, including Kevin Aprilio, Tristan Juliano, Meutia Amanda, and Evelyn Wijaya.

"This will be a unique mix of Korean pop and video game music. We are delighted to perform in Indonesia, a great country with a huge K-pop fan base," Kandis members Hello, Nine, Venny, and Looky said in a joint statement.

During the concert, Twilite Orchestra will collaborate with 250 choral singers.

The musicians will perform new compositions inspired by soundtracks from popular video games in two sessions, lasting 120 minutes in total.

The opening session will offer the audience pieces of music associated with games such as DOTA 2, Monster Hunter, PUBG, Pokémon, Street Fighter, Harvest Moon, and Ragnarok.

The second session will feature soundtracks from Final Fantasy, one of Japan's most popular and enduring role-playing game franchises.
