In a statement released from her office on Tuesday, Maharani outlined various world challenges confronting children, including school dropouts, extreme poverty, and the impact of war.
She emphasized the need for all stakeholders to devise new strategies to assist and safeguard children.
Maharani noted that this summit aligns with the House's efforts to fight for children's rights.
"Children around the world continue to face serious threats to their rights, including exploitation and abuse," she pointed out.
To address these threats, several initiatives can be carried out to enhance children's well-being, including reforming education through digital learning, conducting distance learning classes, and utilizing personalized learning platforms with artificial intelligence (AI).
"By integrating education with vocational training, we can equip children with practical skills to make them less vulnerable to exploitative work," she remarked.
Maharani then drew attention to the use of digital technology as a tool to protect children's rights.
"Digital platforms and AI can track and prevent human trafficking," she affirmed.
In addition, she called for global cooperation from the international community to prevent child labor and human trafficking that have become cross-border issues.
Consequently, she stressed the need for robust international cooperation to dismantle criminal networks that exploit children.
Maharani expressed belief that the world can no longer rely on outdated methods to combat deep-rooted problems related to children.
"The future of our children depends on the actions we take today. Let us be part of the change for them," she emphasized.
She then invited all parties to protect children as the most vulnerable segment of society.
"When we protect a child, we protect ourselves, and we protect the future of humanity," she added.
