Saudi Founding Day is a public holiday celebrated by Saudi Arabia every year.
The historic day is celebrated on February 22 every year to mark the founding of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by King Muhammad bin Saud in 1727 and led by subsequent kings up to King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.
Ambassador Al-Amudi said that now, the country has become strong and wields great influence in the region, the Islamic world, and the international world.
"In the region, in the Islamic world, in the international world, Saudi Arabia is a strong country. A very strong country," he observed.
In addition, Saudi Arabia has a wise leader. Therefore, Al-Amudi said that he is happy and proud of all the progress that the kingdom has achieved.
To continue these achievements, the country is making various efforts to realize Saudi Vision 2030, he said.
Vision 2030 is a strategic plan devised by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, which includes a number of reform targets and strategies for long-term economic success.
At the commemoration of Saudi Founding Day, Ambassador Al-Amudi conveyed his hopes for the security and welfare of his people and country.
"We pray to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala that Saudi Arabia will remain peaceful, both the king, the people, and also the country," he said.
