The ministry's spokesperson, Febri Hendri Antoni Arif, stated on Friday that the 20 certificates comprise 11 TKDN certificates for mobile phone products and nine TKDN certificates for tablet computer products.
The Ministry of Industry's Domestic Product Development Center (P3DN) signed each TKDN certificate after Apple resolved past defaults from 2020 to 2023 by adhering to regulations related to TKDN policies, namely, the Industry Minister Regulation Number 29 of 2017.
Following the issuance of the TKDN certificate, Arif said Apple must first secure a postal and telecommunications certificate from the Ministry of Communication and Digital.
The certificate is necessary to obtain an import Product Registration Mark (TPP) from the Ministry of Industry.
The TPP is required for all Apple products from abroad to obtain IMEI and Import Approval (PI) from the Ministry of Trade.
The newly issued TKDN certificates cover a range of Apple products quoted from the P3DN page of the Ministry of Industry:

Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita earlier announced that Indonesia had completed the negotiation process with Apple regarding the extension of the TKDN certification for the company to sell its products in Indonesia.
"With the completion of negotiations between the Ministry of Industry and Apple stated in the MoU document, the process of TKDN certificate issuance for Apple can begin," he noted on February 26.
According to Kartasasmita, the negotiation process took five months as both parties were clinging to their respective interests.
The iPhone 16, launched for sale on September 20, 2024, could not enter the Indonesian market due to not meeting the 40 percent TKDN requirement.
The Ministry of Industry stipulates that only products with a TKDN and company benefit weight exceeding 40 percent are eligible for sale in Indonesia.
