Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto was scheduled to inaugurate 31 extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors (LBBP) of the Republic of Indonesia on Monday afternoon as representatives to various countries and world organizations.

Deputy for protocol, press, and media at the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana, informed that the ambassador appointments are part of the government's commitment to continue strengthening and improving diplomatic relations.

"As well as Indonesia's cooperation with countries in various parts of the world," he said in a statement released on Monday.

The 31 ambassadors who will be inaugurated by the President at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta are:

1. Penny Dewi Herasati as the Ambassador to Hungary;
2. Siti Ruhaini Dzuhayatin as the Ambassador to the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan;
3. Dicky Komar as the Ambassador to the Republic of Lebanon;
4. Agus Priyono as the Ambassador to the Republic of Suriname as well as the Cooperative Republic of Guyana;
5. Andreano Erwin as the Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia as well as Montenegro;
6. Hersindaru Arwityo Ibnu Wiwoho Wahyutomo as the Ambassador to the Republic of Finland and the Republic of Estonia;
7. Yayan Ganda Hayat Mulyana as the Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden and the Republic of Latvia;
8. Fikry Cassidy as the Ambassador to Bolivarian Venezuela, along with the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, and the Grenadines, as well as the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago;
9. Hendra Halim as the Ambassador to the Republic of Panama as well as the Republic of Honduras, the Republic of Costa Rica, and the Republic of Nicaragua;
10. Tyas Baskoro Her Witjaksono Adji as the Ambassador to the Republic of Kenya, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republic of Uruguay, the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP), and the United Nations Human Settlement Program (UN-HABITAT);
11. Mirza Nurhidayat as the Ambassador to the Republic of Namibia and the Republic of Angola;
12. Ardian Wicaksono as the Ambassador to the Republic of Senegal, the Republic of Cabo Verde, the Republic of the Gambia, the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, the Republic of Mali, the Republic of Ivory Coast, and the Republic of Sierra Leone;
13. Siti Nugraha Mauludiah as the Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark and the Republic of Lithuania;
14. Junimart Girsang as the Ambassador to the Republic of Italy, the Republic of Malta, the Republic of San Marino, the Republic of Cyprus, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the International Fund and Agriculture Development (IFAD), the World Food Program (WFP), and the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT);
15. Cecep Herawan as the Ambassador to the Republic of Korea;
16. Agung Cahaya Sumirat as the Ambassador to the Republic of Cameroon as well as the Republic of Chad, the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, the Republic of Gabon, the Republic of the Congo, and the Central African Republic;
17. Chandra Warsenanto Sukotjo as the Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan;
18. Listiana Operananta as the Ambassador to the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Albania, and the Republic of North Macedonia;
19. Manahan M. P. Sitompul as the Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina;
20. Rolliansyah Soemirat as the Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran as well as Turkmenistan;
21. Kartika Candra Negara as the Ambassador to the Republic of Mozambique and the Republic of Malawi;
22. Bambang Suharto as the Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Republic of Benin, the Republic of Burkina Faso, the Republic of Ghana, the Republic of the Congo, the Republic of Liberia, the Republic of Niger, the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe, the Republic of Togo, and ECOWAS;
23. Muhsin Syihab as the Ambassador to Canada and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO);
24. Simon Djatmoko Irwantoro Soekarno as the Ambassador to the Republic of Cuba, besides the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, the Republic of Haiti, and Jamaica;
25. Susi Marleny Bachsin as the Ambassador to the Republic of Portugal;
26. Air Marshal (Ret.) Yuyu Sutisna as the Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania;
27. Arief Hidayat as the Ambassador to the Republic of Zimbabwe and the Republic of Zambia;
28. Didik Eko Pujianto as the Ambassador to the Republic of Iraq;
29. Rina Prihtyasmiarsi as the Ambassador to the Czech Republic;
30. Vedi Kurnia Buana as the Ambassador to the Republic of Chile;
31. Faizal Chery Sidharta as the Ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Republic of Djibouti, the State of Eritrea, and the African Union.
