The two leaders are also expected to witness the signing of several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) during the meeting, according to Yusuf Permana, Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media at the Presidential Secretariat.
"President Prabowo, at around 1 p.m. local time, will visit Al Husseiniya Palace. King Abdullah II is expected to personally greet him upon arrival," Permana told the media in Amman on Sunday night.
He added that the diplomatic agenda would begin with a one-on-one discussion between President Prabowo and King Abdullah II, followed by a bilateral meeting involving ministers from both countries.
The MoUs will be signed after the meetings, followed by a state luncheon hosted by the King.
Earlier on Sunday afternoon, President Prabowo was welcomed by the Jordanian King upon arrival at Marka Military Airport in Amman, following the conclusion of his diplomatic agenda in Doha, Qatar.
The two leaders walked together to a ceremonial platform, where they participated in a state ceremony featuring the playing of both countries' national anthems.
They then inspected the honor guard before heading to a vehicle. In a personal gesture, King Abdullah invited President Prabowo to sit in the front seat and personally drove him to the hotel where the Indonesian delegation would stay.
Several Indonesian ministers had arrived in Jordan earlier, including Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman, and Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar.
Jordan is the final stop on President Prabowo’s Middle East diplomatic tour, which also included visits to the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Egypt, and Qatar, where he met with their respective leaders.
