He said that both countries are also pushing for immediate access to humanitarian aid for the Palestinian people in Gaza.
"We are calling for an immediate ceasefire in Palestine," he said while issuing a joint statement with Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra at the Government House, Bangkok, Thailand.
"We are also pushing for access to humanitarian aid, and stating that the peace process should be carried out through a two-state solution," he added.
The issue of the Palestinian people's struggle for independence and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza were among the topics discussed during the bilateral meeting between the two leaders in Bangkok on Monday.

Prabowo and Shinawatra also discussed the humanitarian crisis in Myanmar, ASEAN, and strategic cooperation between Indonesia and Thailand in fields ranging from economy and trade, halal industry, health, and energy.
The Thai government delegation at the bilateral meeting consisted of Deputy Prime Ministers Phumtham Wechayachai and Anutin Charnvirakul; ministers Chusak Sirinil, Jiraporn Sindhuprai, Tawee Sodsong, and Akanat Promphan; and Deputy Minister Paopoom Rojanasakul.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian delegation consisted of Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sugiono; Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya; and the Indonesian Ambassador to Thailand, Rachmat Budiman.
After attending the bilateral meeting at the Phakdi Bodin Building, Government House, President Prabowo and PM Shinawatra delivered a joint statement to journalists.
From Government House, Prabowo and his entourage are scheduled to return home from the Thai Air Force Base in Don Mueang.
President Prabowo left Jakarta on Saturday (May 17, 2025) for Bangkok, Thailand, for an official visit to meet with King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Prime Minister Shinawatra.
