The discovery of the group has sparked public outrage of late.
The victims were sexually abused by two suspects, identified as MS and MJ, the director of Polri's Division of Protection for Women and Children and Human-Trafficking Eradication, Brig. General Nurul Azizah, said.
At a press conference at the headquarters of Polri's Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) in Jakarta on Wednesday, she said that MS allegedly sexually assaulted three of the victims.
"The victims comprise an adult aged 21 years old and two children, 8 and 12 years of age," she told the media.
Azizah said that MS is suspected to have taken pictures of the adult victim—his younger sibling-in-law—in their sleep.
MS has been confirmed to be the uncle of the two minor victims, she added, noting that the suspect sexually harassed them twice.
"Suspect MS captured sexually inappropriate photos and videos of all the victims," she disclosed.
Meanwhile, MJ sexually abused his neighbor's seven-year-old daughter, she added.
"The perpetrator molested the victim three times and recorded his amoral act using his cell phone," she highlighted.
She affirmed that her team has been coordinating intensively with the Greater Jakarta Police and Bareskrim's Directorate of Cyber Crimes to trace digital evidence, as more people are believed to have fallen victim to similar cases across regions.
In addition to the prosecution, the police are also collaborating with the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection to help the victims recover psychologically and physically.
"We are also ready to provide a safe house, if necessary," she said.
Thus far, the Polri has named six men as suspects linked to online pornographic cases. They have been identified by their initials as MR, DK, MS, MJ, MA, and KA.
They allegedly posted incestuous content on the Facebook group and another group called "Suka Duka."
