The minister made this statement while officially opening the 2025 Job Fair at the Ministry of Manpower office here on Thursday.
“What sets this year’s Job Fair apart is the inclusion of 135 job vacancies specifically allocated for persons with disabilities,” Yassierli remarked.
He affirmed that the ministry continues to promote inclusive employment for job seekers and workers with disabilities.
“We want to build an inclusive labor ecosystem. For this reason, we have established a dedicated directorate focusing on job placement for persons with disabilities, reaffirming our commitment that every Indonesian should have equal opportunity,” the minister affirmed.
Yassierli explained that the ministry is taking proactive steps by cooperating with relevant stakeholders to develop suitable job types, regulatory frameworks, and competency requirements to foster inclusive workplaces.
“These opportunities are now available through this year’s Job Fair,” he remarked.
The 2025 Job Fair, held under the theme “Optimizing Superior Talent for Golden Indonesia 2045,” offers 52,476 job vacancies, comprising 17,847 in-person openings and 34,629 online vacancies.
Hundreds of companies from various sectors, including manufacturing and services, are participating in the event.
Starting on Friday (May 23), the Job Fair will feature walk-in interviews, career consultations, employment program exhibition in collaboration with other ministries, and interactive dialogue sessions with key figures.
“We aim to ensure that all job seekers have fair, equal, and transparent access to employment opportunities, leading to improved welfare and social security, while allowing companies and industries to grow, thus contributing to the realization of Golden Indonesia 2045,” he concluded.
