Haluk delivered her directives during the National Conference VI of the Association of Indonesian District Governments (APKASI) in North Minahasa District, North Sulawesi, on Friday (May 30). The event was themed "Strengthening Solidarity among Regions to Support the Asta Cita towards Golden Indonesia 2045."
In a statement cited here on Saturday, Haluk highlighted the importance of the theme, emphasizing that solidarity and shared commitment among local governments are crucial to realizing the national vision.
"This theme is expected to motivate district heads to support APKASI's new programs aimed at achieving the goals set for the next five years," she added.
The deputy minister stressed that district heads can demonstrate their commitment to national development by actively participating in the national conference.
She affirmed that the event serves as a strategic platform for district leaders to coordinate efforts in support of President Prabowo Subianto’s eight key missions, collectively referred to as the Asta Cita.
In this context, she emphasized the importance of APKASI evaluating the conference, with particular attention to increasing participation rates among district leaders.
Haluk also extended her congratulations to Bursah Zarnubi, District Head of Lahat of South Sumatra Province, on his appointment as APKASI Chairman for the 2025–2030 period.
She expressed hope that under his leadership, the association would contribute even more significantly to national development.
Additionally, she conveyed her appreciation to the outgoing leadership team.
North Sulawesi Governor Yulius Selvanus, outgoing APKASI Chairman (2021–2025) Sutan Riska Tuanku Kerajaan, and acting chairman Mochamad Nur Arifin, among others, attended the national conference.
