Bengkayang, West Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Indonesian people are not easily fooled and will not allow themselves to be played against each other or divided by irresponsible parties, President Prabowo Subianto has said.

"Today, we are more vigilant, and we will not be pitted against each other—ethnic group against ethnic group, religion against religion," he affirmed at a simultaneous corn harvest event at Harry Hadisoemantri Air Force Base, Sanggau Ledo, Bengkayang, West Kalimantan, on Thursday.

"Those who try to play around should know that our people are no longer easily fooled," he added.

He emphasized that Indonesia's strength lies in the synergy among all elements of the nation, including the Indonesian Military (TNI), National Police (Polri), academics, technocrats, universities, regional governments, business actors, and religious figures.

According to Prabowo, this synergy is a unique feature of Indonesia—one that is often targeted by "foreign entities" that do not wish to see it grow into a prosperous nation.

He stated that as long as leaders act with good intentions and genuinely serve the people, nothing can stop Indonesia's revival.

"Every time Indonesia is on the brink of progress, there are always attempts to disrupt it," he added. Hence, he stressed, the people must remain vigilant and avoid being provoked.

"This synergy is very important and thank God, it is very, very strong," he said.

He stressed that the goal of all state institutions and leaders is the safety of the nation and the welfare of the people. There is no other objective but to achieve shared prosperity, he added.

"So today, I see the evidence and dreams being realized. The success we see across all sectors is the result of this synergy and goodwill," he concluded.
