Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Provincial Information Commission (KI DKI Jakarta) continues to encourage public bodies to make ongoing efforts to become more informative and responsive to the public’s right to access information.

Chair of the Institutional Affairs Division of KI DKI Jakarta, Aang Muhdi Gozali, stated on Friday that one of the key initiatives is the “coaching clinic” program, which brings together various public bodies for concise training sessions.

This initiative is part of the broader efforts to strengthen the capacity and quality of public information services, especially focusing on agencies within the Jakarta Provincial Government that have been categorized as less or non-informative.

One such coaching clinic session was held on Thursday (July 3) at the Graha Mental Spiritual Building, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

The event was attended by four public bodies: the Jakarta Transportation Agency, the Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency, Perumda Pasar Jaya, and Jatipadang Regional Public Hospital (RSUD Jatipadang).

During the session, participants received technical assistance and recommendations for improvement from the KI DKI Jakarta expert team, based on previous results from the Electronic Monitoring and Evaluation (E-Monev) program.

“This coaching clinic is not just an evaluation forum but also a space for constructive dialogue,” Aang stated.

He explained that in addition to presenting evaluation results and discussing challenges in the field, each institution also received strategic notes to improve their information governance, particularly in preparation for the 2025 Public Information Openness Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev).

Aang expressed hope that each public body would promptly act on the recommendations to enhance their transparency and level of informativeness.

“It is expected that the coaching clinic will become a regular agenda to strengthen the public information disclosure system and promote a culture of transparency within local government institutions,” he concluded.
