“Since 2016, #UangKita has consistently allocated more than five percent of the budget to ensure the public has access to quality health services,” Sri Mulyani stated in an Instagram post (@smindrawati) quoted in Jakarta on Saturday.
For the 2025 State Budget, the government has allocated Rp218.5 trillion to the health sector. This funding supports various programs, including the Integrated Primary Care Posyandu (Posyandu Integrasi Layanan Primer or ILP), which serves communities in remote areas.
Sri Mulyani explained that the allocation plays a key role in ensuring equitable access to basic health services such as check-ups, immunizations, and nutrition education for people living far from permanent health facilities.
These services include monthly Posyandu activities for toddlers, adolescents, women of reproductive age, and the elderly, which are regularly carried out by local community health centers (puskesmas).

Of this amount, Rp52.1 trillion was disbursed through central government spending, while Rp26.5 trillion was transferred to regional governments.
Health-related expenditures includes Rp1.9 trillion for hospital revitalization, focusing on upgrading Class D/D Pratama hospitals to Class C, with the focus on strengthening infrastructure for cardiac, stroke, and urology services.
