After meeting with the president at the Presidential Palace Complex here, Sadikin stated that evaluations of the CKG implementation found widespread dental issues among health check participants. "Our dental health is very bad," the minister remarked.
He noted that the finding aligns with the fact that over four thousand out of 10 thousand puskesmas nationwide have no dentists. In comparison, only 600 puskesmas lack doctors on duty.
"It will be my task to improve (the dental health) of schoolchildren, as well as adults and the elderly," the minister affirmed.
At the same meeting, Sadikin confirmed that President Prabowo is willing to inaugurate three new hospitals in several regions, including a major hospital operated by the Health Ministry in Jayapura, Papua.

The Rp1.03 trillion (around US$62.9 million) Mahar Mardjono Hospital is being developed as a medical and health education center dedicated to brain health. The hospital complex comprises three main buildings equipped with modern technologies to support thorough neurology treatment.
