Fauzi monitored the implementation of the Free School Health Check (CKG) program at the State Special Needs School (SLBN) in Semarang, Central Java.
"The Free Health Check program is one way to strengthen the health protection of women and children while also supporting the realization of Golden Indonesia 2045," she noted in an official statement received here on Tuesday.
The minister observed the students' health checks, which included fitness assessments, nutritional evaluations, weight and height measurements, as well as blood, eye, ear, and dental tests.
A total of 579 students at Semarang SLBN, from various elementary, middle, and high school levels, attended the series of health checks.
The CKG program has been running in educational settings since July 14, 2025, through the People's Schools (Sekolah Rakyat) and has been expanded to all regions of Indonesia since August 4, 2025.
Fauzi emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration so that the program can reach all regions, including underdeveloped areas and vulnerable communities.
The Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection expressed its commitment to continuing to support efforts to expand and strengthen CKG services as part of a long-term investment in developing quality human resources.
"The CKG program certainly cannot be implemented by a single ministry, such as the Ministry of Health. It requires collaboration and synergy from all stakeholders. Today's implementation is proof that this cross-sector collaboration is beginning to materialize," she affirmed.
The government expressed hope that the CKG program would serve as a crucial pillar in shaping a healthy and resilient generation of Indonesians ready to face future challenges.
