Primary and Secondary Education Minister, Abdul Mu’ti, stated that the three initiatives include incentives for non-civil servant (non-ASN) teachers, wage subsidy assistance for non-formal early childhood education teachers, and academic qualification recognition.
"With these gifts, teachers, who are the frontline workers of education, are expected to improve their performance and competencies to enhance the quality of learning," Mu’ti remarked here on Wednesday.
He emphasized that all these programs are part of a shared commitment to providing quality education for everyone, in accordance with the 1945 Constitution and Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System.
He expressed hope that these initiatives would lead to improvements in teachers' performance.
At the same event, the Ministry's Secretary General, Suharti, stated that the three programs reflect President Prabowo Subianto’s genuine concern for teachers’ welfare and professional development.
She noted that these initiatives align with President Prabowo’s messages on National Teachers Day 2024 and National Education Day 2025.
