He made the statement while delivering a State Address at the Annual Session of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) and the Joint Session of the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) in Jakarta on Friday.
Prabowo said the reform efforts include modernizing case management, promoting peace-oriented dispute resolution that is carried out swiftly, and prioritizing restorative justice in handling criminal cases.
He noted that the implementation of the e-court system has increased the number of cases handled by first-level courts by 30.84 percent since 2024.
In the same period, the settlement of civil disputes with claims below Rp500 million rose by 68 percent, while the success rate of mediation in resolving disputes increased by 28 percent.
"This achievement is concrete evidence of the Supreme Court's hard work in realizing a modern, fast, low-cost, and fair justice system for all Indonesians,"he said.
The annual sessions — held every August 15 ahead of Indonesia's Independence Day — were attended by more than 600 members of parliament, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, cabinet ministers, deputy ministers, several former presidents and vice presidents, political and public figures, as well as foreign diplomats.
In addition to his State Address, Prabowo also delivered a speech outlining his administration’s performance over the past year.
