Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform urged ministries and agencies to integrate their public service data into the National Public Service Information System (SIPPN).

This step is aimed at facilitating the public in accessing public service information, allowing people to access accurate and accountable information more quickly.

"Ministries and agencies are obliged to be connected to the SIPPN. This is an effort to enhance the quality of public services for the community's welfare," Assistant Deputy for Public Service Policy Formulation at the ministry, Ajib Rakhmawanto, said in a statement here on Wednesday.

Ministries and agencies are also obliged to complete and manage information in the SIPPN, including service standards, complaint management, and performance reviews.

Currently, the SIPPN has been connected with 588 government institutions, comprising 33 ministries, 52 agencies, 34 provincial governments, and 469 district and city governments, making up 81 percent of the total number of government institutions in the country.

"The Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform continues to urge the government institutions that have not been connected to immediately create an account and meet the SIPPN connectivity indicators," he remarked.

He further explained that in the future, the SIPPN will be developed by organizing public service data based on human-centered design principles, life events, and service personalization.

This step is taken in accordance with the recommendation of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) to provide public services that are more responsive, inclusive, and centered towards the needs of the community.

"The SIPPN management and good collaboration between institutions can realize integrated public service information and prevent the abuse of authority in public services," Rakhmawanto highlighted.
