Speaking at the Merdeka Palace on Sunday, he said the government, together with all political parties, both in and out of government, is committed to addressing the people's aspirations.
"Let us remind each other and our families not to engage in activities that harm the public interest," he said during a joint statement with political party chairmen and the leaders of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) and the House of Representatives (DPR).
He called on the public to trust the government in fulfilling citizens' expectations and urged everyone to remain calm.
"Let us maintain national unity. Indonesia is on the path to revival. We must remain united," he said.
President Prabowo emphasized that aspirations should be expressed peacefully, without damaging public property, looting, or causing riots. He noted that anarchic actions would only harm the common good and result in financial losses for the public.
He also urged the public to remind their families to avoid actions that could lead to treason or terrorism.
"We must be vigilant against groups seeking to undermine Indonesia's progress and prosperity," he said, stressing the importance of mutual cooperation in safeguarding the environment, family safety, and national integrity.
"Do not let yourselves be pitted against one another. Let us work together to address the shortcomings of our government and ourselves as a nation," he concluded.
