Prabowo, accompanied by Wijaya, toured damaged homes and market stalls near Badung Market in Denpasar, one of the hardest-hit areas.
He instructed officials, including Bali Governor I Wayan Koster and National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) Chief Suharyanto, to focus on delivering aid and repairing homes and small businesses.
"The government is responding swiftly to the floods across Bali," Wijaya said Sunday in Jakarta.
"The president is making sure BNPB, the Public Works Ministry, the Social Affairs Ministry, and other agencies are working efficiently," he added.
Prabowo also spoke with residents, including Ni Nengah Manis, whose home was badly damaged. He pledged government support for reconstruction.
Torrential rains on Tuesday and Wednesday triggered floods across several cities and districts, damaging hundreds of structures and forcing widespread evacuations. Seventeen people have been confirmed dead.
Governor Koster said the fatalities included 11 in Denpasar, one in Badung, two in Jembrana, and three in Gianyar. Four people remain missing, with search operations ongoing.
By Saturday, floodwaters had receded, and Koster said conditions were stable. Recovery and rebuilding efforts are now underway.
The provincial government confirmed that the situation is safe and that international tourist arrivals remain unaffected by the disaster.
Officials reported no cancellations from foreign tourists.
"Access to Ngurah Rai Airport is clear, and tourism is operating as usual," an official said, noting that 21,000–22,000 foreign visitors continue to arrive daily.
Authorities are assessing losses and coordinating compensation. Market vendors will be compensated jointly by the provincial and city governments, while BNPB will cover home repairs.
Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, who joined Prabowo during the visit, said tourism remains stable and Bali is open to visitors.
"Tourism is running normally, and bookings remain strong," she said, adding that local authorities are evaluating flood impacts and preparing compensation for affected residents.
