In two Instagram Story frames shared via @ditoaryotedjo, Dito is seen standing beside Erick Thohir behind a sheer white curtain, both dressed in dark shirts and gazing out a large window overlooking a garden. The atmosphere appears casual and cordial.
Another photo shows Dito welcoming Erick as he exits a vehicle, suggesting an informal meeting. The time and location of the photos remain unclear.
The post comes as President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to announce a third wave of Cabinet changes Wednesday afternoon at the State Palace in Jakarta.
A day before his expected appointment as Youth and Sports Minister, Erick Thohir, in his role as chairman of Indonesia’s football association (PSSI), filed a formal protest with FIFA over the referee selection for the upcoming Asian qualifiers of the 2026 World Cup.
Thohir criticized the appointment of match officials from the same region as Indonesia’s Group B rivals, Saudi Arabia and Iraq, calling it a potential conflict of interest.
Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian confirmed the upcoming reshuffle but declined to name appointees.
"I heard there will be a new Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs. As Home Affairs Minister, I would be under that coordination," he told reporters at the Presidential Palace.
According to Palace reporters, retired Army Lt. Gen. Djamari Chaniago is expected to be sworn in as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs (Menko Polkam), replacing Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, who has held the role in an interim capacity.
Erick Thohir is reportedly set to return as Minister of Youth and Sports, while Angga Raka Prabowo is said to be appointed as Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO). Official confirmation is still pending.
Djamari, a 1971 graduate of the military academy (Akabri) and a senior to President Prabowo (Akabri '74), last served as Chief of the TNI General Staff (2000–2004). He currently sits on the 2025–2030 National Honors Council.
